POSTAL OPERATIONS SPECIALIST

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public performing administrative and technical support work demonstrating the ability to plan, coordinate, and/or direct an extensive mail management program. Knowledge of performance work statement (PWS) relating to government postal contracts is required. Examples of specialized experience include:
1) Utilize a knowledge of USPS and other directives, regulations, laws, and practices to successfully manage a mail program; 2) Research and investigate new or improved business management practices affecting mail distribution/handling; 3) Perform cost benefit analysis and develop plans for installation/implementation of new postal equipment, systems, and procedures; 4) Evaluate operational mail practices to develop new or modified policies, procedures, goals, and objectives for mail operations; 5) Serve as the liaison on technical matters concerning postal contracts. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
