NTT DATA¬ Services currently seeks a¬ Modernization Assistant Manager¬ to join our team in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii (US-HI), United States (US).

The Modernization Assistant Manager is assigned to the Fleet Modernization Program (FMP) Manager and has special cognizance and primary responsibility for implementing and monitoring adherence to FMP policy, requirements and procedures for all COMSUBPAC submarine forces. Perform the detailed operations of the TYCOM Alteration Management System (TAMS) and enforce SUBPAC and higher authority FMP directives. The FMP is a major component of the Submarine Force's program to maximize strategic and tactical mission and combat readiness and crew quality of life of assigned nuclear submarines and surface ships. The SHIPALT and A&I Coordinator is a technical expert in Fleet Maintenance Policies and procedures. The SHIPALT and A&I Coordinator duties include but are not limited to the following responsibilities:

1. Manages the submarine alteration evaluation and programming by planning, directing, and evaluating the FMP execution efforts for all modernization activities for the Force Maintenance Readiness/Improvements Officer in consonance with the corporate objectives of COMSUBPAC and PACFLT.



2. SHIPALT/A&I Status tracking - executes the accomplishment of alterations to preserve and enhance mission readiness, war-fighting and communication capabilities, ensuring a safe, maintainable and environmentally compliant operational Submarine Force, while maximizing the capabilities provided by the expenditure of modernization resources. Execute the NUCALT program for SUBPAC. Authorize TYCOM alterations for accomplishment on SUBPAC units.

3. Update TYCOM Alteration Management System (TAMS) from letters, messages, and/or e-mails received. Extract data from TAMS to create quarterly reports. Distributed TAMS quarterly reports to cognizant activities.

4. Executes the SUBPAC/SUBLANT TYCOM Alteration Kit (TYKIT) Program. This includes establishing and monitoring the budget, identification of the TYKIT candidate alterations, tasking and supervision of material procurement, prefabrication, kitting, warehousing, monitoring of inventory, and shipment of TYKITs to installing activities.

5. Develops support programs and management procedures to enhance squadron, support unit, and individual unit ability to successfully execute FMP responsibilities. Monitors Submarine Force subordinate command compliance with FMP policy and develops procedures for evaluating FMP performance in subordinate activities.



6. Supports the Force Maintenance Officer in implementing and refining policies, programs and processes to consolidate Depot and FMA activities, and other projects as arise.

7. Records and quarterly unit reports are recorded on the COMSUBPAC website for access by units, shipyards and other cognizant activities. Publish the Weekly TAMS Change Reports to COMSUBPAC Squadrons/NSSC. All digital records and unit archives are maintained in other sites for data tracking, and proof of alteration installation.



9. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
