This position(s) is entitled to 12.25% COLA and 16.51% Locality pay.
This position is located in the Traffic Management Branch, Terminals Operations Division, Operations Department, Fleet Logistics Center, Pearl Harbor. In this role you will prepare, process, and maintain freight documentation for ocean terminal shipments to and from all DoD agencies in Hawaii and process transportation data in accordance with MILSTAMP, MILSTRIP, and the Code of Federal Regulations.
Suitable for Federal employment as determined by background investigation. You must obtain and maintain a security clearance. Must be accepted for enrollment or enrolled in school. Must be registered for Selective Service, see Legal and Regulatory Guidance
Offer interstate and intrastate shipping requests to the Ocean Cargo Clearance Authority (OCCA)
Prepare all documentation and process all military surface and air cargo requiring clearance by U.S. Customs Service
Act as customer service point of contact for DoD and other government agency activities regarding ocean cargo movement
Prepare and transmit the ocean cargo manifest, manifest recapitulation, and manifest summary via the Worldwide Port System (WPS) for ocean transportation

You are eligible if you are currently accepted for enrollment or enrolled in an accredited 2-year or 4-year college (including 4-year colleges/universities, community colleges, and junior colleges); professional, advanced degree programs; or other qualifying educational institution pursuing a qualifying degree or certificate.
