Job Description
USCG LICENSED CHIEF ENGINEER

Summary: Company seeks licensed Chief Engineer / Designated Duty Engineer (DDE) 4000 HP or Unlimited to work onboard vessels out of Pearl Harbor (Honolulu, Hawaii).


Primarily day work (home at night), Monday-Friday with occasional weekend harbor work. Must have experience in supervising and conducting engine inspections and preventative maintenance system documentation and maintaining appropriate historical records.


Must have experience in routine vessel operations PLUS the following:


oRoutine engineering operations
oPreventative / corrective maintenance to engineering equipment
oDeck repairs and modifications
oShipboard safety measures (firefighting, basic first-aid and emergency shipboard systems)

Required Skills
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

USCG Chief Engineer License 4000 HP or higher required with STCW 95 endorsement.
TWIC (Transportation Worker Identity Card) required.
Must be US Citizen and have or be able to obtain aConfidential security clearance.
Military experience a plus.
