This position is located in the Information Resources Management Division, of the Business and Strategic Planning Office at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
The incumbent of the position is an Automated Information Systems (AIS) Security Specialist responsible for the successful implementation and management of the AIS Security Program. The program purpose is to prevent any possible compromise of classified data or unauthorized disclosures; unauthorized modification or destruction of classified, personal, financial, or sensitive business data; or loss of the ability to process data for any reason other than machine failure.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
